This is a great little program which teachers and students may download in order to share files. Once all parties have downloaded the application using a shared login, they will then a have access to a folder similar to the one in the picture above. When a file is addded or changed in the folder, the synching process will update the files on all computers almost immediately.
This is great to use when students are working in a collaborative environment and need to quickly share files with each other. Additionally it also makes collecting large files easier as email accounts in some schools often struggle to cope with large files. I like to use this program when I have a lesson planned that requires the use of a digital worksheet. When students enter the classroom and open the folder on their desktop, the file is automatically there.
Another great application for this program is for teachers to use in order to share resources amongst each other. Teacher collaboration can be just as powerful as student collaboration!
